About the artwork

This botanical illustration depicts Allamanda cathartica, a tropical flowering plant recognized for its large yellow trumpet-shaped blooms and glossy foliage. Rendered in the scientific illustration style associated with botanical and natural history publications, the composition includes detailed studies of the flower structure and plant morphology used for classification and research. The work reflects the documentation of tropical ornamental plant species in the Philippines and Southeast Asia during the colonial scientific period.

Each print is made to order using archival giclée printing on our Fine Art hot press heavyweight paper (300 gsm), with fade-resistant inks designed to last over 100 years.
